The water
Where the boat can put you
The seabed off Penida falls away sharply into deep, current-swept channels. That is what makes the diving good and the site call non-negotiable.
The Penida drop-offs
Gamat Bay and the channel edges. Deep, current-swept, and the reason experienced divers come here rather than the Sanur reefs.
Mangrove Point
The calm alternative when the drop-offs are running. Shallow, sheltered, and the site the captain picks for mixed-ability parties.
