What actually matters
Three things a parent should ask
Not the deck photographs. These are the three that decide whether the day works for the youngest person aboard.
The crossing
Forty minutes to Lembongan against seventy-five to Penida. The shorter crossing is worth more than the extra anchorage.
The swim stop
Mushroom Bay is shoulder-deep and sheltered — children as young as four take the mask there. Stops elsewhere are the captain's call on the day.
