Charter fleet at anchor at sunset

Rates & dates

How early is early enough.

Demand here follows a predictable annual curve. This is the lead time the desk actually sees, season by season — and the dates that ignore it.

Peak lead time

Green season

Free soft hold
24–48h

You do not pay anything to find out whether a boat is free.

  • Enquiry, shortlist, soft hold, then confirm.
  • Two or three real hulls with firm quotes, not a list.
  • Superyacht and chef-crewed need 6–10 weeks, any season.
  • Multi-day always needs longer — rostering and provisioning.

Lead time by season

Peak · July–August, 20 Dec–5 Jan

Recommended lead time
4–8 weeks
Under 72 hours
Limited — usually smaller day boats only

High · May–June, September, Easter

Recommended lead time
2–4 weeks
Under 72 hours
Possible midweek; weekends tight

Shoulder · April, Oct–early Nov

Recommended lead time
1–2 weeks
Under 72 hours
Good across most vessel classes

Green · mid-Nov–March

Recommended lead time
3–7 days
Under 72 hours
Very good — best value and widest choice

Two exceptions sit outside this table. Superyachts and chef-crewed yachts have few hulls in Bali waters and should be requested 6–10 weeks ahead in any season. Multi-day itineraries always need extra time for crew rostering and provisioning.

The dates that sell out first

If your trip touches any of these, the lead times above stop being guidance and become the floor.

New Year and Christmas

New Year's Eve sunset slots are the single most contested booking of the year — enquire two to three months ahead. Christmas week books out across the fleet.

Empty harbour water

Nyepi

The Balinese Day of Silence. Harbours close completely and no vessel departs for the full 24 hours. The days either side compress and go unusually busy.

School and public holidays

Australian school holidays lift family catamaran demand in April, July, late September and December–January. Eid tightens day-boat supply. Valentine's week clusters couples charters.

The flow

Hold and confirm

Nothing is paid until you have seen a real vessel, a real date and a firm quote.

  1. 01

    1 · Enquiry

Send your date, group size and charter type on WhatsApp.

  2. 02

    2 · Shortlist

The desk checks the fleet and replies with two or three matching vessels, open slots and firm quotes — not a form letter.

  3. 03

    3 · Soft hold

Pick a hull and the desk places a complimentary hold, typically 24 to 48 hours, while you decide.

  4. 04

    4 · Confirm

Terms, manifest and the split fixed in writing. The hold becomes a booking.

Knowing your date, group size and charter type up front is what lets the desk shortlist two or three realistic hulls instead of sending a generic list.

Before you enquire

Check the date

Send the date, the group size and the charter type. The desk replies with two or three hulls that are genuinely free, and firm quotes.
