Board at Jungutbatu or Mushroom Bay in the late afternoon. Shorter cruising, longer at anchor, and you can be dropped at a beachfront restaurant afterward.
Where the captain sits
Near the breaks for the last surfers against orange sky, south toward the Ceningan mangrove channel, or further out for a darker horizon.
