Is the price per person?

No. It is the whole boat for the block, divided by however many of you come. That is what makes the per-person figure fall as the group grows.

What is the crew-to-guest ratio?

Typically around one crew member to every two guests — two to five aboard depending on the vessel and the party.

Will there be a fuel surcharge?

Not on the planned route at the planned speed; that is inside the figure. A surcharge only applies to long passages beyond what was quoted.

Are marine park fees included?

Harbour and standard permits are. Nusa Penida mooring and marine-area fees are billed on top and stated up front.

Can I see the split before paying?

Yes. Block hours, what sits inside them and what is billed on top are written out before you confirm anything.

Three things that change the figure

The block is the unit. These are what move it up or down once the block is set.

The hull

Vessel class is the largest single lever. A day boat, a catamaran and a superyacht are different orders of magnitude before anything is added.

The hours

4h, 8h or 24h. Overtime past the block is charged by the hour, and the captain flags it before you cross the line rather than after.

The table

A chef and menu sit outside the block as their own line. On a crewed superyacht they are usually already inside it.
