Bali Cruise Packages & Prices: How to Choose

Updated: August 2026

Bali cruise packages fall into five formats — sunset cruises, half-day and full-day island charters, dinner cruises, celebration charters and multi-day itineraries — and the honest answer on price is that it is set by vessel class, hours on the water, season and route, not by a menu with one number on it. This page shows what each package actually includes, what moves the quote up or down, and how to get a firm price for your group in one WhatsApp exchange.

The Five Package Formats

PackageDurationBuilt forCore inclusions
Sunset cruise2–4 hoursCouples, small celebrationsCrew, fuel, soft drinks or cocktails, canapés
Half-day island charter4–5 hoursFamilies, first-timersCrew, fuel, snorkel gear, light refreshments
Full-day charter8–10 hoursPenida/Lembongan days, groupsCrew, fuel, lunch on board, snorkel stops, island time
Dinner & event cruise3–4 hoursProposals, anniversaries, private dinnersChef or catering, styling, dedicated service crew
Multi-day cruise2–7 nightsLombok, Gili and beyondCabins, full board, crew, itinerary management

Formats are starting points, not boxes. A full-day charter can absorb a proposal setup; a sunset run can extend into dinner at anchor. The customization page shows how far each format stretches.

What Every Package Includes by Default

  • Licensed captain and crew — never bareboat, never “skipper optional”.
  • Fuel for the published route, harbour fees and standard permits.
  • Safety equipment to Indonesian flag-state requirements, briefed before departure.
  • Hotel-to-harbour transfer coordination in southern Bali on most vessels.
  • A named desk contact on WhatsApp from first enquiry to the morning of departure.

What is never included by default: premium alcohol, professional photography, live music, and route extensions beyond the quoted plan. Those are added transparently at quote stage — no surprises on the day.

What Actually Drives the Price

  1. Vessel class — the largest factor by far. An open speedboat, a sailing catamaran and a crewed motor yacht doing the same Penida day sit in entirely different bands. The fleet tiers are mapped on the yacht charter overview.
  2. Hours on the water — a full day is not double a half day; crew and fuel scale, boarding logistics do not.
  3. Season — July, August and the December holidays carry peak demand across the fleet. May–June and September deliver the same seas with softer pricing pressure.
  4. Route and distance — Lembongan burns less fuel than a full Penida circuit; Gili and Lombok itineraries move you into multi-day territory.
  5. Group size — mostly a vessel-selection question: nine guests may simply require the next hull up, which changes the band more than any per-head charge.
  6. Add-ons — chef service, décor, photographers, watersports toys. Priced as line items so you can cut them cleanly.

A fuller factor-by-factor breakdown, including deposit and cancellation mechanics, lives on the cost & pricing guide.

About “Bali Cruise Deals”

Genuine levers exist; fake urgency also exists. The levers that actually work: travel in shoulder months (April–June, September–October), charter on weekdays, take morning slots, and ask the desk what is repositioning — a boat returning empty from an event sometimes surfaces as a short-notice opportunity. What we will not do is publish inflated rack rates and “discount” them. Every quote is built from the real vessel calendar on the day you ask.

How to Get an Exact Quote

Send three things on WhatsApp: your date (or date range), group size, and the experience you want — sunset, Penida day, proposal, multi-day. The desk replies with two or three matched vessels, a route sketch and a firm all-in price for each. No form, no callback queue. The step-by-step flow, deposits and weather policy are documented on the booking process page.

Beyond Bali: Multi-Day Package Territory

When a package brief includes the Gilis, Lombok or Komodo, the conversation shifts from day boats to expedition vessels and liveaboards. Bali–Lombok–Gili itineraries are covered on our multi-day charter page; for Komodo National Park itself, our sister desk Komodo Luxury operates the largest private fleet in the park and publishes its own charter formats.

Bali Cruise Packages FAQ

Why don’t you publish package prices?

Because a single number would be wrong for most groups. The same “full-day Penida package” spans a wide band depending on hull, date and add-ons. We would rather quote your actual trip in minutes than advertise a teaser rate that grows at checkout.

What is the best-value Bali cruise package?

For most first-time groups: a full-day Lembongan–Penida charter in a mid-class vessel, shoulder season, morning departure. It delivers the island highlights, lunch on board and snorkelling in one quote with nothing essential missing.

Do packages include hotel transfers?

Most vessels include or coordinate southern-Bali transfers (Seminyak, Canggu, Sanur, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu). Ubud and further afield are arranged at cost. Confirm the pickup window when you book.

Can I combine packages — sunset cruise plus dinner?

Yes, and it is often better value than booking twice: one boarding, one crew, an extended route. Tell the desk both elements up front so the vessel is provisioned for the full evening.

Are children priced differently?

Charters are priced per vessel, not per head, so children change nothing unless group size pushes you to a larger hull. Family-fit vessels and safety notes are covered on the family charter page.
